First Impressions/ UK Review: Gerard Cosmetics Lipglosses (Swatches on Dark Skin)

Swatches of Gerard Cosmetics lip glosses have been dominating my instagram newsfeed for weeks so I was so excited to finally get involved!

Here are the colours I bought:

L to R: Seduction, Cocoa Bean, Plum Crazy, Wild Orchid, Summer Sun

Hand Swatches
(Top to Bottom: Seduction, Cocoa Bean, Plum Crazy, Wild Orchid, Summer Sun)

Cocoa Bean

Plum Crazy

Wild Orchid

Summer Sun

(LOVE this one!)

Seduction
Oh aye ;)

This colour is a lot darker in person
My Thoughts...

My camera does not do these glosses justice at all! They are so much more vivid in person.
They all apply smoothly and have a very comfortable texture to them.
No stickiness whatsoever and the colour lasts for a very long time without reapplication, I almost felt like I was applying a liquid lipstick.

I guess my only qualm, which really isn't much of an issue, is that Cocoa Bean and Plum Crazy look fairly similar on me. I'm not too bothered because I'm happy to have a back up but for those who are my complexion and stuck on deciding what colours to choose, perhaps pick one over the other.

Ordering From The UK...
Patience is key! If you live in the UK, wait for the right opportunity to order from these US websites because it can end up being really expensive. Thanks to some of the awesome ladies on the Depop mobile app, I was able to get a coupon code which allowed me 50% off on top of the Gerard Cosmetics sale prices and because it was during the holidays, there was free international shipping as well!
Good deal or nah!

(Mini Tip: If you want to get some good deals on high end makeup, sign up to their website newsletter to receive coupon codes. Wait and keep them to use when the sale is on!)

Unfortunately I did have to pay customs because I think Royal Mail disregard the coupons and codes used to decrease the total cost of the order. As far as they were concerned, I paid full price for my items and therefore the total I would've paid without coupons was subject to customs charges.
It was a very annoying £17.51 in total.
However, I've yet to come across lipglosses similar in colours and texture in the UK so I believe they were worth every penny.

I also received one of their lipsticks in "1995", click the picture below for my review.

Have you tried any Gerard Cosmetics lipglosses?
What did you think?

Take Care and God Bless,
